A Note of Thanks from the Clergy Association
Love Thy Neighbor – Act Locally for Mother and Daughter
Home Stretch-A Word of Thanks
In a few short weeks it looks like a local mother and daughter will have a new, safe home in which to recover and transition into the next phase of their lives thanks to a growing number of wonderful people in the greater Goffstown area. The Edge now joins with the Goffstown News in reporting the progress of the unfolding endeavor wherein Debbie and Nicole , a local mother and daughter recovering from a rough year of facing cancer and open heart surgery respectively, have found their neighbors and local churches willing to help them regain their strength and hope. Thus far the news has focused on the actual building of a new, accessible home for them. You can see the home on the corner of Autumn and North Mast Street. It is a literal labor of love.
This note is a shout out to those who have given of themselves and their businesses and prayers so far.(The list grows daily). The following people didn’t ask for this, but Deb and Nicole want everyone to know how grateful they are for what is being done. In a couple weeks there will be a celebratory article when our new friends move into their new home. This week, a week in which this nation celebrates it s independence, it is time to say thank you and affirm our interdependence as well.
Thanks to the following wonderful tradesmen and women and local businesses and youth for getting this project to the home stretch. The Goffstown Clergy Association is accepting donations to finish the project. Indeed the extraordinary generosity and spirit of our community has Debbie and Nicole in the home stretch of seeing their prayer met and need fulfilled. Thanks to the good neighbors who have done so much so far. On behalf of the Goffstown Clergy Association it is an honor to quote mother and daughter and say, ‘God bless you all!’
