Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 8th! Goffstown Main Street is hosting its first Uncommon Art on the Common festival from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and you’re invited. Over 25 artists will be selling their works, and you won’t want to miss this chance to buy pieces as gifts or for your own home. The artists will be located
throughout the village, from Rotary Park to Town Hall and on to the Common. Goffstown artists including Judy McLean
, Ann Domingue, and Peggy Hatfield will be joined by area artists including Eileen Belanger, Kathy Marx, and Peg Lipin. Steve Pascucci and his students will be on hand, and members of the
NH Plein Air artists group will be painting throughout the day. There will be a “wet paint” sale of their work starting at 1 p.m. Diane Ryan will be there, too, with a booth called Smear Art where you can help create a picture by dipping your finger in paint and smearing it on a canvas. Real Fallu and Friends will be on the stage at 1 with music to keep the action lively. For more information, contact Main Street at 497-9933, by email info@goffstownmainstreet.org or visit their website, www.goffstownmainstreet.org.
