Wow, what a great evening! The Friends of the Goffstown Public Library’s 4th Annual Once Upon a Pie… Baking Competition and Auction was a record-breaking event for us bringing in over $1,300 for the organization – beating last year’s pie event by a little over $500!
This amazing evening would not have been possible without the participation and support of a great many people. In addition to the wonderful volunteers who worked hard to make the event successful and the bakers who supply a broad range of delectable pies, we also saw a robust participation this year in the professional division with 12 different businesses competing or donating professionally baked pies! And last, but certainly not least, our local sponsors helped to minimize our overhead costs with their generous donations.
So without further ado, the Friends of the Goffstown Library wishes to recognize the following people and business and offer our sincerest thanks for making this year’s Once Upon a Pie… the most successful yet:
Volunteers:
Benjamin Nelson, Carole Whitcher, Edna White, Eileen Lee, Jo McCalister, John & Laura Stockton, Julie Campasano, Kurt Huxel, Marsha McKay, Melissa Piet, Mike Pelletier, Pat Rowell, Phyllis Hanavan, Steve Brzozowski, Tammy Gross, Tess & Tony Marts – amazing job as event MCs!, Wayne Eddy, Riel Fallu & Jack Hodge, and all the Friends and Library staff who were able to pitch in throughout the evening.
