After nearly 5 years as a blog, it's time to move the Goffstown Edge to a more accessible format where neighbors can share events and photos, and I can publish all the great news from Goffstown, New Boston, Dunbarton and Weare just a bit more simply.
The Edge is now reaching 9,000 unique viewers, and that's a lot of expectations to live up to! Many of you know that my business, The Marketing Edge, has grown substantially over the last 6 months. I am also dedicated to reporting for the Goffstown News, making sure you have more than one way to keep in touch with your community. I hope everyone will continue to send me their announcements, schedules, posters, calendar items, and photos. I will post everything to the Goffstown Edge Facebook Page, and whenever possible I'll be available to cover your event for the Neighborhood News.
I plan to remove the Goffstown Edge blog on September 1. David Suitor and I started this project in the fall of 2007, and I will be eternally grateful to him for his continued support, as well as to everyone in the community who believed in the idea of a public news forum. I would like to send a special Thank You to the editors of the Neighborhood News and to Katie McQuaid, who's professional support was invaluable.
Hopefully one day soon you'll see a similar forum hosted by the town, and you can bet I'll be there with my camera and notepad, making sure nobody misses a thing!
Till then, please Find Us On Facebook!
