Christ Community Church in Weare Raises Awareness of Homeless

The men of Christ Community Church in Weare will live in cardboard boxes outside the church November 11 to 13 to help raise awareness of homelessness and open an avenue for people to give.
Women from the church will operate a soup kitchen to raise money and anyone in the community who needs a warm meal.  That same weekend, the church will accept donations of blankets, gently used jackets, hats and mittens; and non perishable food items.
All donations received will be distributed to local food pantries and homelss ministries in Concord and Manchester.
