Goffstown Christian Fellowship is raising money through donations of new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records and audiobooks. The group has recently placed a drop-off donation container to collect these items from community members who'd like to repurpose their used goods while also helping the church raise money. The group will be paid on an ongoing basis for all items collected in their donation container.
The gray book donation container, distinguished by its purple and yellow "Got Books?" signs, is located in the parking lot of the church at 61 Henry Bridge Road, Goffstown. This program is an ongoing fundraiser and donations can be made by the public at any time. All money raised through the collection of these donations will benefit the general funding of the church.
Join Us Wednesdays during the summer for a different kind of church. In addition to our regular Sunday service there will be a new kind of informal gathering on Wednesday Night from 6pm – 8 pm. We are expecting God to move in a new way! We invite you to join us for a free supper meal at 6 pm this will not be a potluck. There will be some music followed by a story, a talk and a discussion time to round out the evening. We extend this opportunity for you, your family, and friends. This is a time to ask those questions about the bible or God that you have never had a chance to ask. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions. Prayer for your personal needs will follow the meeting time. The youth group will remain the same and start about 6:30 pm until 8 pm. Topics for discussion will be:
· July 6 – Who is Jesus? · July 13 – Why Did Jesus Die? · July 20 – How Can I Be Sure of My Faith? · July 27 – Why And How Should I Read the Bible? · August 3 – why and How Do I Pray? · August 10 – How Does God Guide Us. · August 17 – What Does the Holy Spirit Do? · August 24 – Why and How Should We Tell Others? · August 31 – Does God Heal Today?
We will be having a guest musician on each Wednesday night. Come expecting to get blessed, God is on the move! For more information on this new kind of church call the office at 497-5625 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org .
