All are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 31st. at 7pm in room 100 at the high school.
This is a special meeting to discuss needs for the season opener on Saturday, Sept. 4th. We are still in need of some folks to sign up for various duties for this game. I believe we have only 1 or 2 folks signed up for concession. I'm aware that it is Labor Day weekend, but what better way to kick off your weekend than with a great football game. Be sure to be early to the field for opening ceremonies.
We will also be discussing our new web site possibilities and opportunities.
If you can make it to this meeting, please do and feel free to bring your ideas and suggestions.Our discount card fundraiser cards will arrive Thursday, Aug. 19th.
Jeff Whitman with NFP Sports will be meeting with coaches, players, myself and any one who would like to be at the high school at 2:30 pm for a quick explanation of how this fundraiser works, expectations and to pick up your players cards. I will be at Barnard Playground with the cards while the teams practice Thursday, if you'd like to stop by and pick up your athlete's bundle. I will try to answer any questions you might have. I'll be giving out packets to players, who's parents can't pick them up, after practice. Please watch for them. Each bundle will contain 15 cards which your athlete will be responsible to sell. I know 15 seems like a large number, but do the best you can. This program will run for approximately 2-3 weeks and then we can pretty much focus on playing and watching some football!
