The 33rd Annual David French Goffstown Gallop
The 33rd Goffstown Gallop is a 5.2 mile course and will take place on June 23rd at 8:30am. Course begins and ends at the Goffstown Recreation Center on Mast Road and has both resident & non-resident divisions. Registration forms are available www.goffstown.com, cool running, local merchants & the Parks and Recreation Center.
The Goffstown Lions Club and Parks and Recreation will be hosting two summer concerts with ice cream socials at both events. The first concert will be June 23rd; 5:30pm-8:30pm at Goffstown High School softball field featuring Roxanne and the Voodoo Rockers. The second concert will be August 18th, 5:30pm-8:30pm at Roy Park in Pinardville featuring Joint Chiefs.
2012 Summer Playground Program
The summer playground program is a fun filled 8 week program. Arts & Crafts, Outdoor Games, Quiet Games and various different activities are offered daily. In addition participants will swim everyday. Weekly special events include tye-dye day, pickleball tournaments, dodgeball tournaments and candy bar Olympics. Weekly special events will take place on Fridays with combined activities with both Barnard & Roy Parks. This program is offered Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4pm. Participants may register week by week for the sessions they choose. The Summer Playground Program is scheduled to start on June 25th and will end on August 17th. These dates are subject to change as the school calendar changes. The fee for this program is $60 per week. Scholarships are available. Visit www.goffstown.com for current registration information.
