The Goffstown, New Hampshire Police Department is the sponsoring agency for a youth group known as the Goffstown Police Explorers. Exploring is a career development program for young men and women, 14 to 20 years old. Law Enforcement Exploring allows a person to learn about police work directly from police officers. The Goffstown Police Explorers meet regularly and learn from both an academic setting as well as hands on training. Explorers are involved in projects, work details, and service to the community.
The Goffstown Police Explorers are looking for motivated and dedicated students who are interested in a law enforcement career.
To join Post #394, you must:
- Be between the ages of 14 and 20 years old
- Maintain a "C" average in school
- Possess a clean criminal record
- Display a strong teamwork oriented attitude
- Be willing to attend explorer meetings and events
