To end the year with a bang, the New Boston Farmer’s Market is once again holding its big ENCORE market on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, November 26th. The craft-vendor regulars from this year’s market will join several artists and crafts folk from New Boston and nearby to fill the Library’s Community Room with an array of delights for holiday shoppers and browsers.
“Made-in-New-Boston” items will again include Jacki Filiault’s unique handbags; fun accessories for children from Cassie Lavalliere; Rochelle Coburn’s flavorful, colorful array of handmade candles and unique eggshell Christmas ornaments; Rachel Spray’s charming cards and calendars; and those appealing wood puppets, sheep ornaments and knitted items from Pygarus Farm. Of course, the Heavenly Hops Christmas bunnies are made in New Boston, too!
The Farmer’s Market’s new T-shirts designed by LeeAnn Allen will make perfect gifts for all the family
Other market favorites include Peterborough’s Chris Fennell’s distinctively designed knitted sweaters, dresses and more, the Blake’s wide variety of honey products (from honey candy and comb to skin cream, lip balm and beeswax products); wood worker Martha Underland of Henniker will join us with exquisite woodware; and Kathryn Stillings is bringing her hand-crafted jewelry of sterling silver and gems.
From stocking stuffers to special gifts, holiday shopping can be accomplished early and enjoyably with a visit to the Library’s Russell Community Room on Thanksgiving Saturday between 10am and 3:30pm
