Parents of autistic children as well as family members for those with medial or mental health concerns are invited to register their loved one with the New Boston Police Department on Wednesday, November 16th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Goffstown Police Station
In conjunction with Easter Seals of Manchester and the New Hampshire 911 call center, the New Boston Police Department is sponsoring a registration session for families affected by autism or other medical or mental health concerns that could potentially put the registrant at risk.
The registration process involved taking a photograph and gathering some basic information about the registrant and the family. This information can be available to emergency first responders.
This process is designed to help police officers and other first responders know where persons afflicted with autism or some other medical or mental health concern live and where they might wander to in a time of crisis.
For more information, please contact the New GBoston Police Department at 487-2433.
