On Tuesday January 26, 2010 Hillsborough County Nursing Home will be having a bake sale from 10 AM-4PM to benefit the disaster relief effort in Haiti.
The Nursing Home has partnered with the Manchester Regional Office of the American Red Cross to insure that all monetary donations raised will go directly to the relief effort. The American Red Cross is a legitimate organization with ninety-one cents of every dollar donated going to disaster relief, honoring donor intent.
The bake sale is open to the public and will be held in the employee cafeteria from 10 AM-4PM on Tuesday. There will be baked goods and coffee available. There will also be a fifty-fifty raffle, and several small raffles as well.
Anyone wishing to make a donation to the Red Cross that day as well can do so by cash or making a check out to American Red Cross (memo International Relief Effort)
